The classic movies still surpass any recent any new horror movie..The only one recent that has come close was Rob Zombie's remake 'Halloween'. Even thought it is my favorite my favorite horror movie franchise Rob Zombie did kill the 'Halloween' flow with too much coarse language. As much as those are needed in movies that much was not needed. It changed the story too much. Also to take the original movie and try to make it in 15 minutes of the end of the movie is just ridiculous. The original 'Halloween' is so much of a classic that if you were to try and re-vamp it then you would need a whole new movie than just 15 minutes. Now as much as I loved the remake it didn't do the original. Now if they decide to make another 'Halloween' movie wether it is with Rob Zombie or not, I beg you to please do the original justice and to do the original die hard fans like myself justice and make us proud.
Also to Rob Zombie if you read this, I do admire your work on 'House of 1,000 Corpses' and 'The Devil Rejects' because they will in 10 years be known as classics so if you do end up doing the next 'Halloween' or whoever does it...MAKE US PROUD!!!

I haven't seen The Strangers, but everyone I know that has said how rubbish it was - dont' think I'll bother myself!

My fave scary film is probably the original of Ju-on: The Grudge (not crappy Hollywood version) - I was scared for ages on that one. That or R-Point.

What about The Strangers, which was out earlier this year. Looked really disturbing. Has anyone seen it?

While I think that Annie is the scariest little ginger haired creature ever to stalk the screen my favourite horror movie has to be Dracula with Bela Lugosi, you cant beat black & white!
